> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://docs.valiyou.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Usage > Monitor team seats and valuation usage limits Usage Monitor team seats and valuation usage limits. ## Plan Usage Limits Card Visual progress bars showing current usage. **Team Seats:** * **Display**: "X / Y" (e.g., "3 / 5") * **Progress Bar**: Green (less than 80% used), Blue (80% or more used) * **Percentage**: "X% used" * **Calculation**: Active users + pending invitations **Valuations (this year):** * **Display**: "X / Y" (e.g., "12 / 24") * **Progress Bar**: Green (less than 80% used), Blue (80% or more used) * **Percentage**: "X% used • Resets \[Date]" * **Reset Date**: One year from entitlements creation (usually subscription start) **Annual Reset**: Valuation limits reset annually based on subscription start date, not calendar year. Purchased extra valuations carry forward. **What Counts Toward Limits:** * **Seats**: All active users + pending invitations * **Valuations**: All valuations created this year (Draft + Approved) **Plan-Specific Limits:** * **Starter**: 3 seats, 12 valuations/year * **Professional**: 5 seats, 24 valuations/year * **Enterprise**: 10 seats, Unlimited valuations See [Platform → Team Management](/platform/team-management) for user management. ## Manage Seats Card Adjust team seat count with real-time cost preview. **Current Plan Info:** * **Included Seats**: Base seats in plan (e.g., "5 included in Professional Plan") * **Additional Seats**: Extra purchased seats (e.g., "• 2 additional") * **Seat Price**: Cost per additional seat per month **Team Seats Stepper:** * **Minus Button**: Decrease seats (disabled if 0 additional seats) * **Count Display**: Total seats (included + additional) * **Plus Button**: Increase seats **Cost Info** (appears when changes made): * **Upgrade**: Shows new monthly cost + immediate pro-rated charge * **Downgrade**: Shows credit for unused time + new monthly cost **Example Cost Info:** ``` Your next payment will be 398 DKK per month for additional seats. You will be charged immediately for the pro-rated amount. ``` **Action Buttons:** * **Cancel**: Reset to current seat count * **Upgrade/Downgrade Button**: Apply changes (e.g., "Upgrade to 7 seats") **Flexible Scaling**: Add or remove seats anytime. Pro-rated charges/credits apply immediately, and the new monthly cost takes effect on next billing cycle. **Removing Seats**: You can only decrease additional seats, not included seats. Ensure you have fewer active users than new seat limit before downgrading. See [Platform → Team Management](/platform/team-management#seat-limits) for seat management details. ## Purchase Extra Valuations Card Buy additional one-time valuations beyond annual limit. **One-Time Purchase**: Extra valuations are purchased individually, not on subscription. They never expire and do not reset annually. **Current Plan Info:** * **Included Valuations**: Base valuations in plan (e.g., "24 included in Professional Plan") * **Additional Valuations**: Extra purchased valuations (e.g., "• 5 additional") * **Valuation Price**: Cost per extra valuation (varies by currency) * **Reset Date**: When next annual allocation becomes available **Extra Valuations Stepper:** * **Minus Button**: Decrease extra valuations (disabled if no unused extra valuations) * **Count Display**: Total valuations (included + additional) * **Plus Button**: Increase extra valuations **Decrease Logic:** * Can only decrease unused extra valuations * If you've used extra valuations this year, minus button is disabled * Example: Purchased 5 extra, used 3 → Can only decrease by 2 max **Cost Info** (appears when changes made): * **Purchase**: One-time payment amount, charged immediately * **Credit**: Account credit for unused valuations, usable for future purchases **Example Cost Info (Purchase):** ``` One-time payment of 1,990 DKK for 2 extra valuations. Payment will be charged immediately. ``` **Example Cost Info (Credit):** ``` You will receive account credit for the unused valuation. Credit amount: 995 DKK. This credit can be used for future purchases. ``` **Action Buttons:** * **Cancel**: Reset to current extra valuation count * **Purchase/Credit Button**: Apply changes (e.g., "Purchase 2 valuations" or "Get Credit for 1 valuation") **No Expiration**: Extra valuations never expire. Purchase when needed, use whenever convenient. They don't reset annually like included valuations. **Account Credit**: When you return unused extra valuations, you receive account credit that can be used for future purchases (seats, add-ons, extra valuations). **When to Purchase Extra Valuations:** * Exceeded annual limit (e.g., 24/24 used) * Planning major campaign requiring multiple valuations * Prefer one-time purchase over upgrading plan * Need flexibility without long-term commitment See [Valuations → Create Valuation](/valuations/create-valuation) for valuation creation. ## Common Use Cases ### Adding Team Members (Purchase Seats) 1. Navigate to **Platform** → **Billing** → **Usage** tab 2. Find **Manage Seats** card 3. Click **Plus Button** to increase seat count 4. Review cost info (pro-rated charge + new monthly cost) 5. Click **"Upgrade to X seats"** button 6. Success modal confirms seat addition 7. Go to **Platform** → **Users** to invite new members See [Platform → Team Management](/platform/team-management#inviting-users) for invitation process. ### Purchasing Extra Valuations 1. Check current usage: **Billing** → **Usage** tab → **Plan Usage Limits** 2. If at/near limit, go to **Purchase Extra Valuations** card 3. Click **Plus Button** to add extra valuations 4. Review cost info (one-time payment) 5. Click **"Purchase X valuations"** button 6. Payment processed immediately 7. Success modal confirms purchase 8. Create new valuations: **Valuations** → **New Valuation** See [Valuations → Create Valuation](/valuations/create-valuation) for valuation creation. ## Troubleshooting ### Can't Decrease Seats **Reasons:** * No additional seats to remove (only included seats) * More active users than new seat limit * Pending invitations count toward limit **Fix:** * Remove users first: [Platform → Team Management](/platform/team-management#removing-users) * Cancel pending invitations * Then decrease seats ### Can't Decrease Extra Valuations **Reasons:** * No extra valuations purchased * All extra valuations used this year * Minus button disabled **Fix:** * Can only return unused extra valuations * Wait until next annual reset * Purchase more instead of decreasing (if needed)
