Access your Valiyou account using email/password or social authentication providers.

Login Methods

Email and Password

Standard Login:
  1. Navigate to valiyou.com/auth/login
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your password
  4. Optional: Check “Remember me” to stay signed in (30 days)
  5. Click “Sign in”
Remember Me: Keeps you logged in for 30 days. Disable on shared devices for security.

Social Authentication

Sign in with your existing accounts for quick access: Available Providers:
  • Google - Sign in with Google account
  • LinkedIn - Sign in with LinkedIn account
  • Microsoft - Sign in with Microsoft account
  • Salesforce - Sign in with Salesforce account (for enterprise customers)
How to Use:
  1. Click the provider button (e.g., “Continue with Google”)
  2. Authorize Valiyou to access your profile
  3. Automatically redirected to dashboard
First-Time Social Login: Creates a new Valiyou account automatically if one doesn’t exist for that email.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Enterprise Only: SSO is available for Enterprise plan customers.
For organizations with custom SSO configuration:
  1. Enter your work email address
  2. System detects SSO availability automatically
  3. “Sign in with SSO” button appears
  4. Click to authenticate via your organization’s identity provider
Supported SSO Protocols:
  • SAML 2.0
  • OpenID Connect (OIDC)

Demo Mode

Public Demo: Demo mode creates a temporary read-only account. Data is cleared periodically.
Try Valiyou without signing up:
  1. Click “Explore the demo”
  2. Verify you’re human (reCAPTCHA)
  3. Automatically logged into demo organization
  4. Full feature access with sample data
Demo Limitations:
  • Read-only access (cannot save changes)
  • Temporary session (expires after inactivity)
  • Shared demo environment
  • No personal data storage

Troubleshooting

Forgot Password

If you can’t remember your password:
  1. Click “Forgot your password?” link
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your inbox for reset link
  4. Follow instructions to create new password

Invalid Credentials

Error: “Invalid email or password” Causes:
  • Incorrect password
  • Email not registered
  • Account created with social login (use same provider)
Solutions:
  • Check for typos in email/password
  • Try social login if you signed up that way
  • Use “Forgot password” to reset
  • Contact support if issues persist

Account Not Verified

Error: “Please verify your email address” Solution:
  1. Check your inbox for verification email
  2. Click verification link
  3. Return to login page
  4. Sign in normally

SSO Not Available

Error: “SSO not configured for this domain” Causes:
  • Organization hasn’t set up SSO
  • Using personal email instead of work email
  • Not on Enterprise plan
Solution:
  • Contact your organization’s admin
  • Use regular email/password login
  • Upgrade to Enterprise plan for SSO access

Session Expired

Error: “Your session has expired” Causes:
  • Logged out due to inactivity
  • Session timeout (30 days without “Remember me”, 7 days with)
  • Logged in on another device
Solution: Simply log in again. Your data is preserved.

Security Features

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Coming Soon: 2FA support is planned for a future release.

Password Requirements

When setting passwords:
  • Minimum 8 characters
  • No maximum length limit
  • Can include special characters
  • Case-sensitive
Strong Passwords: Use a password manager to generate and store unique passwords for each service.

Session Management

  • Without “Remember me”: 7 days
  • With “Remember me”: 30 days
  • Inactivity timeout: 30 minutes (automatically logs out)
  • Multiple devices: Can be logged in on multiple devices simultaneously

Privacy & Security

  • All login attempts are logged for security
  • Failed login attempts trigger rate limiting after 5 tries
  • Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
  • HTTPS encryption for all authentication requests
  • reCAPTCHA v3 protects against bot attacks
