Create a new Valiyou account to start valuing your brand and managing sponsorships.

Sign Up Methods

Email and Password

Standard Registration:

1. Navigate to valiyou.com/auth/signup
2. Enter your full name
3. Enter your email address
4. Create a password (minimum 8 characters)
5. Accept Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
6. Click “Sign up”
7. Check your inbox for verification email

Social Authentication

Create account instantly with existing credentials: Available Providers:

• Google - Sign up with Google account
• LinkedIn - Sign up with LinkedIn account
• Microsoft - Sign up with Microsoft account
• Salesforce - Sign up with Salesforce account

How to Use:

1. Click provider button (e.g., “Continue with Google”)
2. Authorize Valiyou to access basic profile info
3. Account created automatically
4. No email verification needed (already verified by provider)
5. Redirected to onboarding

After Sign Up

​

Email Verification

1. Open the verification email from Valiyou (support@valiyou.com)
2. Click “Verify Email” button
3. Redirected to Valiyou with confirmed account
4. Ready to log in

Onboarding Process

After verification, you’ll be guided through:

1. Welcome Screen - Introduction to Valiyou
2. Organization Setup - Create or join an organization
3. Plan Selection - Choose Starter, Professional, or Enterprise
4. Add-ons (optional) - Select additional features
5. Payment - Enter billing information
6. Summary - Review and confirm

Accepting Invitations

If you received an invitation email:

1. Click invitation link in email
2. Automatically directed to sign-up page
3. Email pre-filled from invitation
4. Create account with exact email from invitation
5. After verification, automatically added to organization

Password Requirements

Your password must meet these criteria:

• Minimum: 8 characters
• Maximum: No limit
• Allowed: Letters, numbers, special characters
• Case-sensitive: Password ≠ password

Strong Password Examples:

• ✅ MyV@li!You2025
• ✅ Sponsorship$Tracking#2024
• ❌ password123 (too weak)
• ❌ valiyou (too short)

Troubleshooting

​

Email Already Registered

Error: “An account with this email already exists” Causes:

• Already signed up previously
• Signed up with social provider

Solutions:

• Try logging in instead
• Use social login if you signed up that way
• Click “Forgot password” if you can’t remember credentials

Email Not Received

Issue: Verification email didn’t arrive Solutions:

1. Check spam folder - Most common issue
2. Wait 5 minutes - May be delayed
3. Check email address - Verify no typos
4. Request new email - Contact support
5. Use different email - Try alternative address

Invalid Email Format

Error: “Please enter a valid email address” Causes:

• Missing @ symbol
• Spaces in email
• Invalid domain

Solutions:

• Check for typos
• Use format: name@domain.com
• No spaces or special characters (except + - . _)

Password Too Weak

Error: “Password must be at least 8 characters” Solution: Use minimum 8 characters with mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.

Terms Not Accepted

Error: “You must accept the terms to continue” Solution: Check the “I agree to Terms of Use and Privacy Policy” checkbox before clicking Sign up.

Security & Privacy

• Encrypted Storage: Passwords hashed with bcrypt
• HTTPS Only: All data transmitted securely
• Email Privacy: Never shared with third parties
• GDPR Compliant: Full data protection
• reCAPTCHA v3: Bot protection during sign-up

  • 1 user
  • Limited features
  • No credit card required

Paid Plans

• Professional: Multi-user teams
• Enterprise: Unlimited users, custom features

Data Collection

Information collected during sign-up: Required:

• Full name
• Email address
• Password

Optional (via social providers):

• Profile picture
• Work organization

Never Collected:

• Payment info (until plan upgrade)
• Social security numbers
• Unnecessary personal data
