Payment Methods Card

Displays for each payment method:
  • Card Brand Icon: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.
  • Card Brand Name: “Visa”, “Mastercard”, etc.
  • Last 4 Digits: ”•••• 1234”
  • Expiration Date: “Expires 12/2025”
  • Default Badge: Blue “Default” badge if primary payment method
Actions:
  • Manage Payment Methods Button: Opens Stripe Customer Portal
    • Add new payment method
    • Remove old payment method
    • Set default payment method
    • Update card details
Empty State:
  • Message: “No payment methods found”
  • Action: “Add Payment Method” button → Opens Stripe Customer Portal
Stripe Customer Portal: All payment method management happens via Stripe’s secure portal. No card details are stored or handled by Valiyou.
Security Features:
  • Card numbers never fully displayed (only last 4 digits)
  • No card details stored in Valiyou database
  • PCI DSS compliant via Stripe
  • Secure Stripe Customer Portal for all changes

Common Use Cases

Updating Payment Method

  1. Navigate to PlatformBillingPayment Methods tab
  2. Click “Manage Payment Methods” button
  3. Stripe Customer Portal opens in new window
  4. Add new card or update existing card
  5. Set new card as default (if desired)
  6. Return to Valiyou (portal auto-redirects)
  7. New payment method appears in list

Troubleshooting

Payment Failed

Reasons:
  • Card expired
  • Insufficient funds
  • Card blocked by bank
  • Incorrect billing details
Fix:
  • Update payment method: Payment Methods tab → Manage Payment Methods
  • Contact your bank to authorize payment
  • Verify billing details: Billing Details tab → Update Billing Details
  • Try again after fixing issue
